Early voting has begun in Madison County

The Madison County Board of Elections reminds voters that early in-person voting for the Nov. 4, 2025, General Election began Oct. 7 at the Board of Elections office located at 288 Lafayette Street in London.

Voting hours are set by state law and include evening and weekend options:

• Oct. 14–17, 20–24: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

• Oct. 27: 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

• Oct. 28: 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.

• Oct. 29–31: 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

• Nov. 1 (Saturday): 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

• Nov. 2 (Sunday): 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

“Early voting gives residents flexibility and peace of mind,” said Nikki Campbell, Director of the Madison County Board of Elections. “Educating and engaging with voters about their options helps ensure confidence in the process and promotes transparency in every election.”

Early voting is always conducted by a bipartisan team of election officials, following the same security procedures used on Election Day. Ballots are securely stored, processed, and counted under strict chain-of-custody and verification standards.

Madison County residents have shown strong support for early voting. In the November 2024 General Election, 51% of Madison County voters chose to cast their ballots during the early voting period, reflecting the community’s trust in and appreciation for convenient, secure voting options.
