Clover Clippers 4-H Club visits historic farm and barn
The Clover Clippers 4-H Club in Plain City recently held their fall meeting with a tour of Mitchell’s Berries and the historic 1912 Barn on Converse Road.
During the visit, owners Paul and Shelly Detwiler shared their farm concept of reconnecting people with agriculture through events and experiences. They also spoke about how their own 4-H experiences helped shape their careers and inspired their ongoing agricultural outreach in the local community.
Club members presented highlights from their fair awards and reflected on their experiences from the past 4-H season. The evening concluded with roasted hotdogs, s’mores, and recreation.
The Clover Clippers are now gearing up for another year filled with community service projects, farm tours, and hands-on learning opportunities.
