Trapshoot honored Ken Berger

Relaxing between rounds are Ken Berger, HOF Trapshooter and Honoree; Dave Berlet HOF Trapshooter and event Singles winner; and Dirk Meckstroth HOF Trapshooter and High Overall Winner.
The winners are: Brad Alfrey (Doubles), Dirk Meckstroth (HOA), Dave Berlet (Singles), Craig Bonham (Singles & Handicap), Josh Lickliter (Handicap).

Madison County Fish & Game (4700 Deer Creek Lane, London) held an Amateur Trapshooting Association registered shoot this weekend in honor of longtime member and Hall of Fame shooter Ken Berger.

Dirk Meckstroth dominated the field, breaking an impressive 293/300 to win High Overall.

Craig Bonham won the Singles/Handicap with a 195/200.

Dave Berlet perfected the Singles with a 100/100.

Josh Lickliter took the Handicap trophy with a 96/100.

Brad Alfrey broke a 94/100 to claim the Doubles.

Upcoming events at Madison County Fish & Game include Turkey Card Shoots on Oct. 19 and 26, and Nov. 2, 9, 16, and 23, with sign-ups beginning at 11 a.m.. The winter trap league starts Dec.r 2 at 4 p.m., and a Trap Calcutta will be held on Dec. 14. More information is available at madisoncofishngame.com.
