Our office received reports of a male driving the White Dodge Ram pictured around the county trying to sell driveway asphalt that “had to be laid today or it would go bad.” Male was 50 – 60 years old, clean shaven and spoke with a heavy southern accent. He identified his company as Asphalt Maintenance from the Alton (Franklin County) area. It was reported that the male was a “fast, smooth talker” like it had been rehearsed and called the neighbors by name.
